Member News Who’s Who in Reverse Mortgages Sciandra and Scarpati Join NRMLA Board of Directors Peter Sciandra, executive vice president of reverse lending operations/secondary at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp., and Jonathan Scarpati, senior vice president of wholesale production at Finance of America Reverse (FAR), were appointed this spring to serve on NRMLA’s Board of Directors for the balance of the 2024 term. Before joining Fairway in 2020, Sciandra held various managerial positions at Longbridge Financial, Generation Mortgage Co. and Security One Lending. Scarpati joined FAR in 2010 and leads the company’s wholesale division. He was also a key player in bringing the HomeSafe® proprietary loans suite to market in 2014. Five Brothers Now Part of MCS MCS acquired Five Brothers Asset Management Solutions, bringing two property preservation and maintenance services companies together. Nickalene Badalamenti-Kalas, Five Brothers’ president and CEO, says Five Brothers joined forces with MCS to provide field services, advanced technologies and reverse mortgage expertise to clients. “We are bringing together two purpose-driven organizations with common goals and synergies that will continue delivering superior value to clients,” BadalamentiKalas said in a news release. Mayer Recognized as a Top 25 CEO in New York Key Executives has named Chris Mayer, Longbridge Financial CEO and founder, one of the Top 25 CEOs in New York for 2024. Mayer serves on NRMLA’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Other honored New York executives include Gregory Macfarlane, CEO and president of Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc.; Irina Novoselsky, CEO of Hootsuite; and Ranjit Tinaikar, CEO and board member of Ness Digital Engineering. Sivori Joins Ibis Software Board of Directors Ibis Software Corp. announced the appointment of Robert Sivori as a director, effective March 1, 2024. Bringing his experience from the reverse mortgage industry, Sivori is poised to contribute significantly to the company's strategic growth initiatives. Sivori’s background includes serving as an executive of organizations, such as Celink, Reverse Mortgage Investment Trust, MetLife Bank, EverBank Reverse Mortgage and BNY Mortgage Co. Sivori also serves on NRMLA’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Ibis Software created the reverse mortgage calculator found on NRMLA’s consumer website, www.reversemortgage.org, and Ibis’ calculator is also used by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-approved reverse mortgage counselors. HighTechLending adds Boccia to TPO Channel HighTechLending Inc. appointed reverse mortgage industry veteran Brian Boccia as senior account executive in its third-party origination (TPO) channel.
