Wright Nominated for Women in Housing Leadership Award Robin Wright, managing partner of Wright, Finlay & Zak LLP, was chosen as one of five finalists to win a 2023 Women in Housing Leadership Award in the diverse ownership category at the 20th Annual Five Star Conference in Dallas, TX. Wright was featured in the September issue of MortgagePoint Magazine (formerly M Report). The diverse ownership category recognizes the achievements of businesswomen whose contributions will continue to impact the housing and mortgage servicing industry for years. Hicks Named National Sales Director at Open Open Mortgage promoted Mike Hicks to national director of reverse sales following the retirement of Patty Wills, who began her career in the reverse mortgage business 30 years ago. Hicks has worked in the mortgage business since 2009. Most recently, he was reverse sales manager at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp. He has also held management positions at 1st Nations Reverse Mortgage, Willow Bend Mortgage Co. and 1st Reverse Mortgage USA. Wills served on NRMLA’s Board of Directors from 2015 to 2020. She also owned her own brokerage from 2007 to 2016 before joining Open Mortgage in February 2016 as sales development manager.
