Valverde Resigning as Acting Ginnie Mae President

Ginnie Mae announced last week that Acting President Sam Valverde will be stepping down effective November 30, 2024.

Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer Gregory Keith will assume the responsibilities of Ginnie Mae President.

What they’re saying: “On behalf of NRMLA, I wish to extend our appreciation to Sam Valverde for his steadfast support and leadership in developing HMBS 2.0 these past several months,” says NRMLA President Steve Irwin. “We wish him the best of luck with his future plans.”
